Casa Le Basse was built arround te 50ties. Unfortunately, it was almost impossible to live in the main part of the building when i bought it. With a lot of passion and love for the detail I rebuilt Casa Le Basse into a little holiday home in 2002. With its comfortable apartments it is the ideal guest house for the ones who look for peace, enjoy and appreciate a relaxing atmosphere in a quiet place surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and fields of wheat. As a chance the nearby tourist places offer a range of possibilities such as bars,pubs,discos and more. Of course, our swimming pool, wich is reachable within 5 minutes walking distance, is always at your disposition. Here at Casa Le Basse we do our best to offer you a personal and easy going atmosphere during your stay.
Casa Le Basse is located in the community of Gavorrano,next to the village of Ravi and is situated in the picturesque hills of the Maremma. The charming surrounding is not only ideal for hiking but also loved by cyclists. There is a lot to do and to discover. The visit of the great beaches of Follonica, Punta Ala and Catiglione della Pescaia at the short distance of 15-25 km is a must. If you are interested in art and culture the cities of Florence, Siena, Volterra and Pisa are easily accesible and not far away. Rome can be visited on a one day excursion as well as the island of Elba.For the Wine interested Guest there are many famous Wine roads like Montereggio, Brunello, Morellino, Chianti or Montepulciano,that invite to try and buy there products. Casa le Basse is ideally situated in every aspect, and we even speak english here.
