Two friendly, affordable vacation apartments (in 2013 only one); close to the beach; each 60 qm with spacious balcony or patio; enclosed estate – children safe; pretty garden; ocean view; garage; telephone; 200 meter to the sandy beach; dogs welcome; very good infrastructure. The Casa Tania was originally planned in 1963 as a regular private residence but then it was built as vacation house with two separate, 60 qm large, apartments. The architecture corresponds to the taste of this time and combines functionality with the land house style of the area. The equipment consists foremost of fitted furniture that are tuned to the architecture. The house holds a special charm that fits perfectly into the town. Its, in the meantime, well planted garden offers a space for relaxation and the bougainvillea covered patio is an additional shady room where you can enjoy your meals, reading time or also to sleep after your sun bath. The beach is just 200 meter from the house. The kitchens and bathrooms of both units have been entirely renovated and modernized according today’s needs. You will have 5 sleeping spots in each apartment: 2 in the bedroom as well as 3 in the living room (those are also seating opportunities). Blankets and pillows are present but you have to bring your own sheets. The balcony and patio are furnished so that you can eat ( in all weather) outside. Each kitchen is equipped with cooking supplies and dishes for 6 people. You will also find a phone, where you can be reached. The house is on a private road and the only traffic will be from the people that are living higher up the hill. Therefore, the location can be determined as quiet and will guarantee you a tranquil and relaxing vacation. Your car will be parked safety in an adjoined garage. Behind the house is a hill where wine and figs will be farmed. The south/ west side of the house faces the ocean. Here is the balcony and the patio with ocean view. To the sides are vacation homes of natives who are usually only visit during the summer months or at the weekends. A small grocery store is easily reached by foot in 3 minutes. Towards S. Maria you will find further so called “supermercati” that are certainly more like smaller grocery stores. There are plenty (depending on season) of restaurants. Upon request we offer you some recommendations. In any case, you need to try the area typical “Mozzarella di buffalo” (made with buffalo milk) that you can’t compare with any of the typical grocery style mozzarellas out of your own stores. Sport interested guests will have sufficient opportunities to play on land or in water. Tennis courts are close to the beach and can be rented by the hour. Two camping grounds (La Duna and Amatucci) offer surfing boards and courses. Excursion destinations are certainly all the excavation sites in the Cilento (Velia and Paestum). A day trip to Naples is certainly a must for all culture fans. You can easily take the train to Naples. You can park your car at the train station in Agropoli – train connections every hour. You also have to visit the mountain landscape behind Paestum, where you still find untouched landscapes, a stalactite cave, a sleepy nests that will you show you the other side of southern Italy. |
