Holiday cottage with a perfect layout. The house has a unique location approx. 50 m from Ringkøbing Fjord. Both from the living room, with the dining area, but especially from 1st floor you have panoramic views. On a bright day you have views of both the fjord but also all the way to the dunes at the North Sea. Tv with German and Danish channels. There is a whirlpool for sore muscles from which you also have access to the sauna. No letting to youth groups. Area: Ringkøbing is the largest fiord in West Jutland (30 kilometers long and a surface of 300 square kilometers). It is sheltered from the North Sea by the long and narrow isthmus called Holmsland Klit, and only at Hvide Sande there is a lock to the North Sea. The nature around Ringkøbing Fjord is amazingly beautiful with large salt meadows. Throughout the ages the fiord has been a very important area for the fishermen which have benefited from the rich animal life in the fiord. Today Ringkøbing Fiord is one of Denmark’s most important bird areas, and great part of it is protected area. Ringkøbing is situated on the northern part of the fiord, and it is one of the most well-preserved market towns in Denmark. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere, the nice shopping possibilities and the wide range of cultural attractions, especially during summer. South of Ringkøbing is Blåbjerg Klitplantage where you can find the highest dune in Denmark (64 meters). The plantation is consisting in wood and heather areas, and it is an obvious tourist attraction if you want to go for a walk or a bike trip. Along the western side of the fiord facing the North Sea, there are a lot of excellent beaches, among others in the area around Hvide Sande.
