Large holiday cottage with modern decor located in the lovely Udsholt Beach. The house has a bathroom with soothing whirlpool for 2 people. Underwater massage does wonders for sore muscles and joints. After a long walk by the beach it feels great with a "sweat" in the sauna, which can accommodate up to 4 people. Large, open terrace of 42 m2 and covered terrace of 14 m2. There are many fine beaches along the coasts of North Zealand. No letting to youth groups and institutions. But the large cottage areas near the coast, the beautiful landscapes, child friendly beaches and trips to Copenhagen make the areas just that. Visiting North and East Zealand makes a trip to Copenhagen a natural part of your holiday. The city offers an abundance of sights and activities all year round with everything from amusement parks to churches and museums to concerts with well-known artists. No matter where you choose to spend your holiday it is easy to get to Copenhagen by public transportation. You therefore have the opportunity to combine your relaxing holiday with a city holiday filled with a lot of interesting activities. In the green and fertile North Zealand there are open hilly areas as well as big forests and lakes, e.g. Arresø, Denmark's largest. Along the northern coast you will find some of the most beautiful coastal sceneries of Zealand and the finest beaches ideal for swimming. From the Øresund coast you have great views over the sound to Sweden. To the west the region is bounded by a smiling fiord landscape and low meadows at Isefiord and Roskilde Fiord. Along the coast of Kattegat there are a lot of child-friendly beaches with low water. The widest beaches are found in Hornbæk, Tisvildeleje and Liseleje where the sand is fine and white, and big dunes give shelter from the occasionally roaring Kattegat. The coast at Øresund is milder, and the beaches are rather small. Often the public beaches have life guards at disposal during the summer season. Also Isefiord and Roskilde Fiord have several small beaches with low water, for instance at Lynæs. On East Zealand you also find Stevns Klint (cliff), 12 kilometres long and up to 41 metres high. The cliff is more than 65 million years old. For people interested in the Danish history North Sealand is especially interesting with the many castles built by our different kings. Visit e.g. the Queen's castle Amalienborg in Copenhagen, Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, Fredensborg Castle in Fredensborg and Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, home of Shakespeare's Hamlet.
