Also, almost all sport activities are possible: hiking, boat or cable car excursions, visit of salt mines and museums etc. For the physical well being, very good restaurants, cafes, pubs and mountain huts are provided nearby. Shopping, post office bank and doctor in the pretty tourist village St. Georgen (5000 inhabitants), 2 km, and 50 km from Salzburg. The Attersee is a sports paradise with 7 beach pools, indoor pools, sailing and sailing school, boat rental, diving (diving courses), rafting, surfing, fishing, tennis, golf, mini golf, (with school), horse riding, horse-drawn carriages, balloon rides and a fantastic hiking area.
