Skarinou was founded in mediaeval times and is located on what has always been a junction of traffic routes. Subsequently, Skarinou has featured on the earliest maps that exist of the island. Only a few hundred people live in Skarinou today, the village being dominated by its imposing church. The beach can be reached within ten minutes. Archaeological finds can be viewed in Skarinou´s closer proximity.
The town house is located near the church and was built in around 1800. The tastefully furnished two-storey holiday flat has a size of about 45 sqm and has a huge terrace. During renovation of this flat care was taken for a traditional character to remain, the terracotta floor bearing witness to that. Preparing the freshly-purchased food in the living/dining room´s kitchen line promises to be at least as much fun as enjoying it thereafter. The air-conditioned bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed. The bedroom on the first floor has two single beds and is air-conditioned, too. There is a bathroom with shower and WC on each storey. The swimming pool (10 m x 5 m) is found in the inner courtyard of the houses consisting of various flats.
