HOUSE

This very maintained, bright and cosy house was built 1993 and is in best condition. It lies above on a dune on a very hilly nevertheless wind-protected property nearby the fine sandy beach.

When you come into the house, on the right side is the bathroom with wooden walls and on the left two of the three bedrooms. Behind it is the very confortable livingroom with the eating area and laterally is the open kitchen set.

On the side of the house lying to the sea is the living range with beautiful, comfortable Rattanchairs in front of a small oriel with a window front all around and a view to the dune landscape. Beside lies the door to the third bedroom. In two bedrooms are double beds located and in the third a bunk bed. In the beds are in each case 70 x 190 cm large feather/spring core mattresses.

On the other side of the living room is the dinnertable and in front of the window area with the terrace door is a small arrangement with for example a swinging chair. The space leftis free. The house is carpet-free (timber floorings!) and from object A54 only 50 m through the dunes.

The terraces are lieing to different sky/wind directions.

SURROUNDING

The Jammerbucht is known for its expanded beaches and the clean seawater. In 1 km distance of the house is a riding center.

In addition to the beach life (cars are allowed to drive on the beach) there are good fishing, gulf and tennis possibilities close by. A summer country with Aquapark and a subtropical swimmingpool area with a 40 m long chute etc. offer varied amusement. People can go bowling, visit shops and discotheques.

In Løkken there is the coastal fishery museum and in the Johanne Grønbechs house you can get informations and see exhibits for the history of the trade relations and economic development of the former center of the maritime trade between north Jutland and south Norway as well as a kitchen from the turn of the century.

For short trips the hinterland offeres for example the large village Vrensted with medieval church and idyllic village pond; the white painted monastery Børglum with church and fabulous view; the enormous cliffs of Rubjerg Knude; old cemeteries in a landscape, which was formed by sand driving and hard living conditions or Vrå with the famous collection of works of the painter Engelund.

Also easily reachable are the large cities of north Jutland as Ålborg, Hirtshals, Skagen and Frederikshavn with different free time and culture offers.

Hiking in Sandmose, visites of churches, workshops and exhibitions of domestic artists as well as the North Sea museum in Hirtshals with seals etc. make sure the vacation won't get boring.
