The region Franche-Comté comprising the departments Territoire de Belfort, Haute-Saône, Doubs and Jura, is situated in the east of France. It is famous for its rich forests, that's why it is also called "green lung of France".
The houses of Oricourt (25 residents) are arranged around the Medieval castle with fantastic panorama view. Our two stone houses are standing in the centre side by side. They are connected by the former stable building. We renovated the property by maintaining the historic parts and we mostly used natural materials.
Livingspace 120qm on the groundfloor: kitchen with dining area, large wood stove, piano, toilet, shower and stairway to the sheltered garden seating area, by the garden seating area there is a room with a pull-out bed couch (double bed).
First floor: small library, reading corner with sat-TV, bedroom with double bed.
Attic floor: large bedroom with double bed, a single bed and the opportunity for an add. single bed, shower, toilet.
Sparetime: hiking, cycling, canoeing, swimming, tennis, riding, golf closeby. Museums, castles and last but not least restaurants.
