The Fattoria Mellicciano is an ideal accomodation for very large parties. We offer the main villa (16+2 pers.)with annex (4 pers.) and, 500 metres away, a small hayloft (2+2 pers.), with air conditioning and 2 simply furnished apartments (Fontana 1 for 6 pers. and Fontana 2 for 8 pers.) There are 2 swimming pools: one (6x14 m)close to the villa and one (14x7 m with hydromassage)close the other apartments. The Old villa of the thirteenth century lying among vineyards and olive groves in the San Miniato area (8 km), a few kilometres from Castelfiorentino (8 km) where there stands a fortress built on top of an old roman village. The villa, renovated but respecting its original architectural features, lies in the middle of lovely grounds of 2 hectacres with ancient trees and a beautiful view over the hills of the valley of Val d“ Elsa. A well-cared for garden offers small spaces for relaxing outside and the swimming-pool (6x14 m) open until the 30th of October, which lies in a nice quiet spot, is very inviting for taking a plunge or for sun-bathing. The furniture is in rustic style, combined with modern comforts among which: laundry room with washing machine, dishwasher, TV-SAT, VHS, telephone, and central heating.
