The apartment "Scacciapensieri" was renovated in 2010, is comfortably and nicely furnished and it is situated just outside the village "Neggio" (typical village of the Ticino with characteristic old center with sun dials, fountains, etc.) which is within walking distance. This oasis of peace (just a few minutes away from Lugano) is an attractive starting point to visit the characteristic region of Malcantone. Several hiking trails: along the Romans' path, to the oldest hammer mill of Switzerland, to the beautiful mountains of Malcantone.

Arrival:
Motorway exit to Ponte Tresa. Continue until Agno and at the cemetery turn right and go up to Cassina d'Agno. Continue to the junction Neggio / Vernate, after 50m continue to Vernate, until you arrive at the red stone house; now turn right into Via Pianelle, until number 5. Tip: at the red stone house continue till the next turn, turn your car at the parking and come back on the same road, so you can easily move into the Via Pianelle. |
