Newly constructed fully furnished and equipped house, with own beach, jetty and runabout for exploring coast and fishing. House is located at Couran Point on South Stradbroke Island, 80 km south of Brisbane International Airport, on the Gold Coast, Australia's premier holiday destination. Access is also easy from Coolangatta International Airport. Access is by car or shuttle bus from airport, followed by water taxi direct to own jetty.Magnificent ensuite master bedroom has queen size bed, lounge area, dressing area, jacuzzi, etc, and leads onto balcony with views down the waterway. 4th bedroom also has office facilities. Bedrooms 2 & 3 (2 single beds each) have deck looking directly out onto National Trust bushland - spot your own kangaroo!Laundry room has washing machine and clothes dryer, ironing board, etcLarge living area (luxury kitchen, dining table for 8, lounge area with television) leads out onto sundeck just metres from water, with barbecue, table and chairs for outdoor living, sunbeds, etc.Guests have full access to facilities of Couran Point Island Holiday Resort, just a short walk away (or go by water in your own runabout!). These include restaurant and bars, tennis, cycles, canoes, pedal boats, sport oval, games room, putting green, children's playground, etc. A shuttle is operated for the 2 km cross-island journey to the magnificent 18 km surfing beach. Sandy beaches on the quiet-water side of the island, facing the mainland. Great bush walks in mainly National Trust property.Easily accessible from the island is the central Gold Coast area, with its vibrant nightlife, excellent international cuisines world standard surfing beaches, etc. Sailing and fishing, including deep water fishing.On the mainland are also several theme parks. The hinterland includes rugged tropical jungle terrain. Brisbane is a modern sophisticated cultural city, about 80 km away.Weather in summer (Dec-Feb) is hot. More preferable for north Europeans is Autumn (March-May) and Spring (Sept-Nov). Winter (June-Aug) has lovely warm sunny days, but chill-ish nights.Weekly tariff (based on $Aus) varies from 750 Euros ($Aus1300) for off season, to 2200 Euros ($Aus3800) for peak Xmas/New Year and Easter weeks.
