Our lovely furnished bungalows are situated in a tropical garden with pool and marvellous view, at 600m above sealevel. Here you find rest and relaxation, as well as the opportunity of horse riding, bird observation, hiking and getting in contact with people and country.Costa Rica with its tropical rain forests, its almost intact nature, its variety of species and friendly people offers the ideal vacation for nature friends and people looking for rest.In our small facility close to the rain forest, you are able to laze around as you like, no matter wether you prefer the hammock or the deckchairs at the pool. From everywhere you enjoy the marvellous view to the Gulf of Nicoya with the harbour town of Puntarenas and to the mountains. In the morning, you are waked up by a bird-concert and monkey-screaming, in the evening you relax with a "pina colada" and observe the sunset and the tropical starry sky.Our finca "El Mirador" is the ideal starting point for various activites. We arrange excursions to the higher situated mist-forest and other tropical forests, to volcanos, different Pazific beaches, to the town Puntarenas or to the capital San José. You can hike or ride or swim in the cristal clear water of the rivers. The climate is very agreeable with temperatures between 25 and 32 degrees. The months of November - June mostly are dry, more or less rain in September and October.For guests who don't like to cook, we offer a manyfold break-fast and possibly arrange a dinner. In Taja Alto, at 1.5km, or in Miramar, at 6km , there are some restaurants.Travelling by bus is good and bargain in Costa Rica, even unaccompanied women are not molested. If you stay longer than two weeks, we offer a price reduction. If requested we pick you up at the airport, which is at 120km.We gladly advise you on all activities or excursions.
