The beautyful landscape offers kilometer-long child-friendly sand beaches, which are marked with blue flags for particularly clean water, enormous forests and cycling tracks. Marielyst is in 10 km distance north to the ferryhbour Gedser in the south Falsters. Here in the warmest region of Denmark, you have all possibilities you can think of for a vacation in Denmark and all attractions are reachable in max. 1 hour drive. For culturally interested people ti is particularly worth to see: the cathedral of Maribo (on Lolland), the "Middle Ages center" in Nykøbing, here is the daily life and the war in the 14. Century presented, Festivals, concerts etc..
