Main house of a farm lying in one of the best areas in Chianti among the hills that run from Castelnuovo Berardenga (16 km) to Vagliagli (9 km), just 13 km from Siena. The countryside that presents itself to the eye of the visitor with its beautiful irregular mix of vineyards and woods as far as the eye can see leaves one with a sensation of peace and serenity. Il Romito is a typical rural property that has been completely renovated in recent years, lies in a nice position on its own, and has large external areas available; in a small terracing they have made a private pool of 5x11 (depth varies from 1,20 - 2 m). Adjacent to the main house is the wardens´ flat who take care of the cleaning service and the garden. From Romito you can visit some of the typical trattorias hidden in the attractive villages of Chianti near Siena to try the excellent local cuisine, by a glass of good wine.
