This beautiful villa is located in an idyllically quiet and panoramic position, near the village of San Casciano Val di Pesa, only 20 Kms from the centre of Florence. It has recently been completely restored by the owners, who live there most of the year, renting it only for two months in the summer. The original structure of the house dates back to the 14th century and it once belonged to the "Brothers" of Certosa (Carthusian monks). Originally completely stone-built, it has now been restored and furnished to a very high standard, with all modern comforts. The interiors are very light, with huge french windows on the ground floor, which open onto the garden and pergola. A particular feature of the property is the very attractive and well-positioned swimming pool area. Here, guests can dine under a shady and well furnished pergola, while enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
