SEA ECHO is situated on the Coral Road, a quiet parallel road to the Beach Road. The beach with a length of several kilometers, a paradise for surfers and windsurfers or fishers, can be reached within few minutes on foot.
5 min. on foot away from shopping facilities and many several restaurants.
3 min. by car away to the shoping center of Table View (Bay Side).There is a big Shoping Centre " Century City" nearby ca. 10 min by car. From Sea Echo you are in 15 min. (by car) away to the center of Capetown and to the V&A Waterfront. From the Waterfront you can make a trip to Robben Island the Prison of Nelson Mandela.
Two golf courses - Milnerton and Melkbosstrand - are in the immediate vicinity. One shouldend forget to take a trip to the vineyards of the region where many wineries invite you to taste their wine or to enjoy a picnic.
Even in the South African winter you can experience many different things.
Whale-watching in the Table Bay on the beach of Bloubergstrand or also Hermanus etc. ( Info you get at Blaauberg Tourist Info Centre ca. 10 min on foot)
North of Vanrhynsdorp the landscape is wide and open. Here starts the deserted, semi-desert Namaqualand with its capital Springbok. During the "Wildflower Season" between July and September it is dotted with myriads of wildflowers in countless colours.
