The free-standing house is situated on the hilly interior, 5 km north-easterly from the picturesque little town of Castagneto-Carducci, and 14 km away from the beach. The house has been renovated between 1988-90, simple but functional. Encircled by 40 - 100 years old pine trees, on a small hill, with 200 Olive trees. The next neighbour lives north-westerly and manages a farm. Thanks to the elavated top position there is always a cool brise thats why you can enjoy the sun without feeling the blistering heat.
The former farmhous is divided in a main building and an extension.
The main building is two-storeied. Each floor has a surface of 45 m2. On the ground floor is the living/dining room with fire place and a big table for 8 adults. There is a open way to the fitted kitchen with it's two sinks, dishwasher, fridge, gas hob with electric oven. In the next room is the washing machine and there is a lot of room for diff. implements. The upper floor can be reached by a staircase. From the hall you can reach the double bedroom, a small twin room and the toilet with WC, sink and shower.
The extension contains a living space of 35 m2, it can be used as a twin room with open entry to the kitchen (sink, cooking stove, fridge) and a open passage to the double bedroom; from here you can reach the separate WC with sink and shower.
The adjacency of the house are divided in three parts:
in front of the house under the onehundred years old pine trees towards the west there is a patio 35 m2, a meadow. The access road to the house is small and not tarmaced.
This property with its 6-8 beds is ideal for extended families with children, two families or a familiy with grandparents etc. In max. 30 min. you can reach the sandy beach and a nice pine forest with ice-cream shops, skating rink and a huge playground.
You can day-trip to interpretive centres and hot springs. If you set a high value on a quiet surroundings off the beaten track this is the right place for you.
