| The Domaine is an estate dating from the 15th century, its manor house and adjoining buildings are surrounded by 800 acres of forests, meadows and parkland. A private drive of about one mile connects with the Bergerac to St. Alvère road therefore guaranteeing absolute privacy and silence. The former guardian's house, which is in the traditional and enchanting Périgord style, has been reconstructed and divided into three separate "apartment-houses". "Le Rosier" is a single property, which stands alone at a distance of about 50 yards from the other apartments and the pool area. All apartments are individually arranged with antique furniture and a high standard of comfort. The total number of guests at the Domaine de la Valette is limited to 12 at any time. This combined with our personal service guarantees you a relaxing and comfortable stay. Its position offers a microclimate with cool nights but with more than 2500 hours of sunshine per year it can be enjoyed together with a splendid view from the top of the valley. Come to be inspired and seduced by the charm of the Périgord. - room cleaning twice a week - Croissants and Baguettes are delivered free of charge every morning upon request - Our 5 Haflinger ponies may be taken for excursions by experienced horse riders - Pool-Table available in the library with old fireplace (free of charge) - Towels and pool towels, sheets and pillowcases are supplied |
