| The approx. 45 acres large property is situated in the Parc Naturel du Luberon, 2 km from the town af Apt. Two houses more than 200 years old welcome you to a site containing a wooded hill which dominates the valley of Apt and offers a remarkable panorama stretching from Mont Ventoux to the mountains of Vaucluse.On the property you can follow small footpaths which take you through fields of lavander and brushwood, past the remains of an old hermitage and the tower of St. Elme, a watchtower dating from the year 1000. From there you will have an exceptional view of many villages dotted around the valley of Apt.A swimming pool (10 x 5 m x 1,90 m deep), situated in the centre of a large wooded section, will refresh you during the hot hours of the day. A smaller pool for children (5 x 3 m x 0,80 m deep) is situated in a neighbouring field. (In use from the beginning of May to the end of September). The landlords inhabit another part of the house with private entrance path. Furnishings This ancient provencal building bathed in light and peace offers 150 square meters for rent. The ground floor, totally independent, opens south to a lawn, shaded by 100 year old trees. It has the charm of the houses of our childhood, natural wood furniture and travel memories, and a very beautiful view of Mont Ventoux and vast wooded areas. The different rooms are very spacious, and lit by numerous windows and French doors opening to the provencal landscape.Each of the three comfortable bedrooms (one is an en-suite bedroom that can also be reached by a separate entrance) includes two twin beds, a bathroom and an independent toilet. The vast living/dining room has a large fireplace and satellite TV. The kitchen is large and well equipped (refrigerator incl. freezer, dishwasher, washing machine). One additional bedroom with twin beds looks out on the swimming pool area. This bedroom with a separate entrance has also a bathroom and an independent toilet.
