GAR 043 St. Clément St. Clément is a quiet and dreamy village of vine-growers. Church, town-hall, place for playing ”boule” and all around countryside and vineyards and the “Bois de Paris”, which is a wood. It gave its name to the “mas” (farmhouse), that is situated in the centre of the village. Then you get to another living-room with TV. And finally a big bathroom and a WC. Upstairs: on your left a big bathroom with tub, shower, two wash-basins and - extraordinary idea - a “hammam” (steambath). On your right there are two bedrooms (with door between them). Furthermore two WCs and then on your left a bedroom with bathroom. On the opposite side another bedroom with two single beds. And finally a room with “grand lit” and integrated bathroom. Outside: the patio, the garden and the swimming-pool with jet-stream.You will find in Salinelles, next place to St. Clément , two special restaurants: the “Château Maeva” and another one with specialties from the Caribbean. The beach “Marseillan-Plage” is about 3.75 miles away. Here you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea and the life at the beach. Your accommodation is a townhouse in the centre. You will be pleased by the ideas realized in it. There is, for instance, a nice patio in the roof. Nobody can see you there and when it is too hot up there are shutters that can be opened. You will enjoy the full life of a small town in southern France, including neighbours chatting leisurely in front of their houses or the removal of refuse in the morning. Very charming … You enter the house through the garage. Narrow stairs lead to the floors upstairs. On the first there are two big bedrooms the one of which with a small additional room for stowage and the second with a large room for clothing. The bathroom/WC are also on this floor. The next stairs lead to the living-room, comfortably furnished with convertible sofa, wicker chairs, armchairs and TV. From there you get into the kitchen with dining-furniture and access to the small but nice patio. Bikes are available. And countless ideas for excursions. GAR 026 St. Geniès Slightly west of the line Orange – Avignon you will find the charming village of St. Geniès-de-Comolas. This quiet and nice place is a good starting-point for excursions in every direction:the lavender fields and Mont Ventoux in Provence, the Cevennes mountains in the north, the Pont du Gard and Nîmes in the west and a bit more south of the charming town of Avignon the Mediterranean Sea. Beside the small shops there is also, close to the village, a wine-merchant with excellent wines of the region. If you want more than what is needed for your daily life you will find this in the next town. The house, built in the 19th century, is situated in the quiet centre of St. Geniès. Two accommodations are offered here from April to September; from October to March only one is available. There is a swimming-pool at which there is an area for chairs/table and a summerhouse furnished with a kitchen.Both accommodations are provided outside with an area for sitting accessible from the yard:GAR 026 (65 m²) offers a lot of space for four persons and a baby. GER 053 Aramis This will be without a doubt a good choice for making holidays. Besides this area is lying just between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic which means away from the big tourist routes. And if you ´d like some more Mediterranean - no problem, our guestrooms near Perpignan (ROU 007) are open for you!Samatan is a small village in “Gascogne”, “département de Gers”, west of Toulouse. Between Samatan and the Pyrennees in the west a wonderful countryside with gently sloping hills on which endless fields of corn and sunflowers stretch. Here you can relax all year: in summer enjoy the Mediterranean sun and the lifestyle in southern France, in spring and autumn the excursions and in winter the mild climate with a distance of only one hour´ s drive to the snowy mountains. Whenever you make holidays here - an excursion to Toulouse is an absolute must. This town has got both, an old and a modern face. Modern jets are built here, Aérospatiale can be visited. And then there are the middle-aged sights many of which are built of red bricks which is not that typical of southern France. The “Gascogne” is an excellent gourmet land and in Samatan, too, you can enjoy excellent meals, not only in summer when Dôner” is served on some evenings. Streets are reserved then for pedestrians only and people meet to enjoy dining.Outside the village they have built a nice set of five villas on a large property.
