Casa Rossi The partially renovated holiday-apartment is in an original house of the region, in the midst of the small, old romantic and very quiet fisher village of Brusino-Arsizio, at the foot of the Monte San Giorgio (100m away).The terrace (4x6m) with table and chairs, barbecue grill, sunshade and 2 deckchairs is directly above the lake of Lugano. There are stairs to the lake on stones. From there and from the apartment you have a beautiful view to the lake, to Morcote on the other shore and the whole surrounding area, and in the evening to the sea of lights that is reflected by the lake.Special equipment:In the two familyhouse Casa Rossi the holiday-apartment is divided on two floors. On the ground-floor is a simple kitchen/living room with fireplace, bathroom with tub and WC. Access to the terrace. On the 1st floor are two bedrooms. The bedroom with view to the lake has a double bed, a small balcony and a TV set and is freshly furnished. The bedroom to the north has two single beds beside each other as well as a couch (bed).Shopping:There’s a small shop for the daily necessities in the street around the village, which can be reached within a 5 minutes’ walk through village and gardens. At Ponte Ceresio in Italy, which is only 5km away and very beautiful for strolls and diners, you’ll find a new supermarket (IPER), where you’ll get everything you may need.Leisure facilities:Walks, e.g. to Serpiano, to which you can also take the train (station 200m away from the apartment) and further on to the Alpe di Brusino, and to the Monte San Giorgio, or to the Monte San Salvatore, Monte Generoso, Monte Bré etc. Swimming, biking, mountainbike-trekking, tennis, golf, miniature golf, zoo, botanic garden, exposition Swissminiature etc. Boat trips to Morcote, Melide, Lugano, Agno, Caslano, Gandria or to Italy, to the different markets of Ponte Tresa, Porto Ceresio etc. Guided tours of towns like Mendrisio, Lugano, Locarno etc. as well as many different museums.Remarks:Quiet location and also in the middle of the village. Gartenwohnung The cosy village of Hofstetten in the Bernese Oberland is a quiet holiday resort with a slight hillside and sunny situation. The distance from the village to Brienz is about 4km, to the pass of Brünig about 6km and to Meiringen about 10km. Our house has a raised and quiet location. Hofstetten is known for the Swiss open air museum Ballenberg as well as for the lovely surrounding with its mountains and the lake of Brienz. Hofstetten is also a central starting point for different excursions, e.g. to Lucerne (Kapellbridge, Swiss museum of traffic, Congress and Culture center of Lucerne from Nouvel) or to Interlaken (Mysterypark, newly opened by E. von Däniken), to the Lauberhorn (scene of the world cup downhill race), to the Schilthorn (known from a James Bond movie), to the region of the Jungfrau, to the world cup skiing resort of Meiringen-Hasliberg or by steam rack railway to the Brienzer Rothorn. In summer excursions to the Valais and to the Ticino are possible. The living room gives a cosy atmosphere. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped. Villa des Oliviers The quietly located estate is 2 km away from the historic center of Tourrettes-sur-Loup. The village is between the well known Gorges du Loup / Grasse and Vence / St Paul de Vence (each between 5 and 10km away). It is a starting point for people whe love the nature, who are fond of arts but also for guest who prefer to go bathing. The living surface is 130m2. The house furnished in a provincial style is suitable for 6 adults and 2 children. On the ground floor is a spacious living-room with an open fireplace and an open kitchen as well as a store room and a new bathroom. On the 1st floor are 3 bedrooms and another bathroom. The expanded attic (1.30 – 1.80m)is ideal for children. Part of the equipment are a satellite TV-set,a hifi-set and a DVD-Player. The large roofed summerkitchen (30 m2) with a walled in barbecue grill offers place for 10 persons. The 30 m2 large terrace looking south gives a beautiful view. The pool (10 x 5m) is in the midst of the flat garden with a surface of 1650 m2. It offers enough place for the children to play and has 15, partly very old, oliv trees, palms and other beautiful plants. A high-quality children’s house with electricity and heating gives the children an ideal place to play. The estate is situated absolutely calmly, isn’t visible an has two lockable entries.The nearest swimming place is in Cagnes-sur-Mer (15km). The beaches of Cap d’Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Cannes etc. are also very easily reachable.In Tourrettes are two bakeries, two butchers and a vegetable merchant, who also sells the most important staple foods. There’s also a kiosk with international press, a chemist and a pharmacy.In the vicinity are a large number of golf courses, e.g. in Biot, Grasse, two in Sophia-Antipolis (both 9-hole-courses), Opio/Valbonne (15km) and Chateauneuf-du-Grasse (18km).
