| This attractive holiday home is located on a large natural plot of land providing plenty of space for all the family. The property borders directly on to the attractive lake of Bryrup Langsø, which provides good fishing opportunities. Due to the steep shoreline, access to the lake is gained via a series of steps. This region's attractive and lush countryside is a mixture of moorland, lakes, hills and streams and boasts a number of well-marked trails. This region is also home to the Bryrup-Vrads historic railway, which runs for five kilometres through the charming landscape. One of Denmark's best-known attractions, the 147 metre Himmelbjerg Hill (literally "Heaven Mountain") is situated close to Bryrup. A popular means of getting to Himmelbjerg is the paddle steamer "Hjejlen", which takes a little over an hour to make the journey from the town of Silkeborg. For those who enjoy golf, the 18-hole Himmelbjerg Golf Club and a nine-hole "Pay & Play" course are both within easy reach. This region is also home to thriving colonies of local artists and craftsmen, many of whom open their studios and workshops to the public. Close to Rodelund, and around 15 km from the holiday home, you will find Labyrinthia, a fascinating destination which boasts "Europe's largest 3D maze" among its attractions.
