| Situated on the countryside, the Sonnenhaus at Lake Constance is less than 5km from the historic centre of Überlingen, very restful location in a deadend street in Bambergen. Ideal starting point for walks, hikes and excursions, cycling tours to Lake Constance or to the picturesque Linzgau. Golf course Owingen and horse riding in Bambergen close by. The lakeshore with its 3 lidos is close by and invites for swimming, sailing, diving, canoeing and water skiing. In Überlingen there is an excellent SPA with dreamlike sauna directly at the lakeshore, further SPAs in Meersburg, Radolfszell and Constance. Excellent gastronomy in the neighbourhood ('Naturata' in Überlingen-Rengoldshausen and 'Adler' in Lippertsreute). The biological passive house has been built in 2009 with lot of wood and pug walls. There is a generous living-diningroom with exit to the large sun terrace and the beautiful garden with pond. On the groundfloor there is a showerroom with toilet and washbasin. On the upper floor there are 5 sleeping studios in maisonette style with gallery and a large bathroom with wooden tub, shower, toilet and 2 washbasins. Überlingen is a lively historic town at the lake. Many hiking paths, nature parks and castles are expecting you. Enjoy an icecream or a fine local wine on the mediterranean lake promenade. From Meersburg there is a ferry to Constance. Visit the flower island Mainau. Destinations in the neighbourhood: Meersburg (castle and old town), Saelm (castle, monkey mountain), Uhldingen-Mülhofen (crannogs), Sipplingen (lido), Allensbach (wildlife park and abbey Hegne), Bodmann-Ludwigshafen (Maria canyon, castles, lido) and Constance (coucil, old town, island Reichenau, Sea Life Centre). The hinterland offers manyfold nature sights (Rheinfalls in Schaffhausen, volcanos, Hohentwiel) and also offers like Ravensburger Spieleland, Minimundus, Seepark Pullendorf. |
