Here you can wander along the narrow streets passing though low arches that reveal hidden squares which, on market day (Saturday, are teaming with colour and activity. There is a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops and a good supermarket. The Pont du Gard is about 16 ks away – and the cities of Nimes and Avignon and the wine producing villages of Lirac and Tavel slightly further. The beaches of the Mediterranean, the Camargue, famous for its horses and fighting bulls, and the Gorges de l’Ardeche, famous for canoeing, are all easily accessible for a leisurely day trip. |

S'Hostalet S’Hostalet is situated in the centre of Majorca, in one of the most peaceful and typically Majorcan areas of the island. It is very well placed, first because it is only 2 km from Vilafranca and only 5 km from Petra, both of them traditional Majorcan villages that still preserve all their old charm, and secondly because its central location makes it relatively close to anywhere on the island that you wish to visit – beaches, interior, mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana, etc.From the top of a hill that is 200 m high, in an area of complete peace and quiet, the houses afford a splendid view over the Plain of Majorca, the Migjorn area, and the east, with the splendid mountains of the Serra de Llevant. To the north rises the magnificent pine-covered hill of Puig de Bonany, with its beautiful chapel.S’Hostalet is in the middle of a conservation area of great natural beauty. The houses, all of which are new, have been built to a high standard of quality, blending perfectly functionality and modern conveniences with the the rustic charm of traditional Majorcan architecture.
